Welcome to A11y Camp. To help you have the best time possible, we’ve gathered some useful information for you.
WIFI access
“MCEC Free WiFi” – no password required. You will need tick the terms and conditions on their internet browser for the Wi-Fi to connect. it will time you out, so you will need to re access and tick terms and conditions each time you re-enter the wifi.

Communication
To help everyone feel comfortable at A11y Camp, we are using various sticker systems. We’re using ‘open to hugs’ and ‘do not touch’ stickers. We also have a simple color-coded dot system to show how much someone is open to interacting with others:
- Green dot: You’re happy to chat and connect with others.
- Yellow dot: You’re okay with some interaction, but prefer to keep it light or only with people you know.
- Red dot: You’re not looking to engage in conversation right now.
People can change the colour of their dot throughout the event, so everyone needs to check to ensure that attendees are willing to ‘chat’, even if they might have been willing at an earlier time. And if you need more dots, just ask at the registration desk.

Photography and Videography
Photographs and videos will be taken during the event. These photos will be used to promote A11y Camp. This may be on website and social media. Please speak to the photographer if you have any concerns.
