A11y Camp – Subsidy support request

A11y Camp is committed to making the event welcoming and accessible for everyone.

Thanks to the National Disability Conference Initiative grant funding from the Australian Government, we’re excited to offer a limited number of subsidies to assist Australians with disability, and their support people, attend A11y Camp 2025.

These subsidies can help cover costs of:

Travel (flights or other transport)
Accommodation
Conference registrations

Terms and Conditions – A11y Camp subsidy assistance

Please read the following terms and conditions before submitting your subsidy request. By submitting this form, you agree to the following:

1. Eligibility

Subsidies are available to Australians with disability and their support.
You must be intending to attend A11y Camp, either in person or virtually.
Applications must be submitted by Sunday, 7 September 2025, to be considered.

2. Use of Funds

Subsidies may be used to cover travel, accommodation, and/or A11y Camp registration fees.
Support will be offered based on need and availability of funds
You may be asked to provide supporting documents (e.g. travel quotes, accommodation estimates) to help us assess your request.

3. Allocation Process

All decisions regarding subsidies are made by the A11y Camp organising team.
The amount of subsidy provided may vary depending on the request and available budget.
We may not be able to subsidise all requests.

4. Notification and Acceptance

Applicants will be notified of the outcome by 3 weeks after the date of submission.
If your application is successful, we’ll send further information about how the support will be provided (e.g. direct bookings, reimbursements, or registration codes).

5. Cancellations and Changes

If your plans change and you can no longer attend A11y Camp, please let us know as soon as possible so we can reallocate support.
Let us know if your travel or accommodation plans change.

6. Privacy and Use of Information

The information you provide will be kept confidential and used only to assess your request and plan for accessibility.

Your personal information will not be shared without your consent.
